Study in Northern Ireland

6

Voice-over: You may know Northern Ireland as the home of Game of Thrones,

the Titanic, breath-taking countryside and the friendliest of welcomes

but it’s also a globally recognised centre of educational excellence,

welcoming thousands of international students each year.

Aishwarya: I chose Northern Ireland because I was aware that the quality of education is excellent.

It has great resources and the kind of technology

which is now very vital when it comes to doing research

Voice-over: Northern Ireland is the ideal place to learn English.

Davey: We don’t learn English just in the classroom.

You can go horse riding, surfing ... many different sports.

Voice-over: With a diverse range of courses, you can help develop the skills you need for your career.

And with a growing economy and strong links with industry,

studying in Northern Ireland sets you on a path to success.

Sanaz: I am so interested in programming

Also making websites and applications for all sorts of businesses.

The cost of the course was less in Belfast, so that’s why I decided [for it].

Voice-over: For children and teenagers, Northern Ireland's boarding schools

offer you a first-class learning experience

and help you prepare for college or university.

Sebastian: There are a few people from Ghana,

a few people from Kenya, Romania, South Africa, New Zealand as well,

so you get to experience a lot of culture.

My dad knows a couple of guys who went to this school

and they have a network all over the world.

Voice-over: The joy of Northern Ireland being a compact region is that it’s so simple to travel about.

Aishwarya: The public transport is excellent

quite reasonable too, with student discounts available.

Alora: It’s just such a great place to go out

and explore the coast line and the countryside.

Voice-over: Whatever course you choose, there’s one thing that you can be sure of:

Youll love being here.

Alora: It’s just such a great place to go out and have fun in pubs.

I just really love the country and fell in love with the people and culture.

They like to chat to you if you are from a different country.

They are really interested in hearing why you are here and where you are from.

Sanaz: For me, coming from a totally different culture, I love it here.

People here are so friendly.

Sebastian: Youre like in a big community rather than a home

and your fellow boarders become a family.

Davey: The people are friendly. The country is beautiful.

Voice-over: If that’s not enough, it’s only a short hop to the UK’s other great cities and Europe’s capitals.

Not that youll want to leave!

Alora: I just love it here so much that I’d actually like to live here one day in the future.

Sebastian: Over here, you can do almost anything you want to do.
